The Fund for Animals' Black Beauty Ranch
The Fund operates the world famous Black Beauty Ranch in eastern Texas. The 1,000-acre
refuge
is home to many hundreds of animals -- from chimpanzees to burros to elephants. Here,
animals
do not get harassed or harmed, but a helping hand and healthy food.
I have nothing to fear;
and here my story ends.
My troubles are all over,
and I am at home.

- Black Beauty Ranch provides tours for individuals and groups who are interested in
meeting the animals and seeing first hand how the sanctuary operates. Because we are not a
zoo and our first priority is the animals, tours are given by appointment only so as not to
conflict with our care giving. We are about a one hour drive east of Dallas, Texas. For tour
information call (903) 469-3811.
